GEOG SOLARSCOPE

Allows users to practice astronomy during the daytime. Observations of: Solar Sunspots, Planetary Transits, Eclipses, Earth & sun rotation rate, inclination of North/South pole axis, Terrestrial orbit of eccentricity. The ingenious design allows light from the sun to pass though a glass lens mounted at the end of a plastic tube, and project onto an aluminium-mounted mirror at the back end of the Solarscope. A large image is reflected back onto an inside wall of the instrument for safe viewing. Standard (2-4 observers). Observation screen size is 24x24cm. Sun’s image size on the projection screen: diameter about 8cm.
