Description
Helps students study two important wave properties. Students use Snell’s Law to determine the critical angle of a fluid, to find the index of refraction and to discover the law of reflection. Rotating platform provides measurements, also provides an easy way to change angles without disturbing the light source or the object the light is being projected upon. Supplied complete with a cylindrical convex lens of focal length about 75mm and two double slits, giving one wide beam slit and one each of single, triple and five slits. Dimensions: 40x25x12cm. Rotating platform: 17cm diameter divided into four equal quadrants. 12V Power supply is needed to run the light source (not supplied).
