Description
Demonstrates linear expansion of solids. Consists of a solid base with two supports, one of which is fixed whilst the other carries the scale and pivot. Pointer moves along a scale reading 0 to 90°. Expansion of bar by heat causes the pointer to move along the scale. Bars supplied: aluminium, brass and iron.
