Description
Visually demonstrate electric fields between various electrode configurations. Place liquid paraffin in the 90mm petri dish and sprinkle semolina, or fine grass seed (not supplied) on surface. Apply high voltage via 4mm terminals and field pattern is generated. Terminal has thumbscrew system, permitting height adjustment of electrodes. Six electrodes are supplied: 2x ‘point source’; 2x ‘line source’; 2x circular rings of 35 and 70mm diam respectively. Requires a safe, low-current limited 0-5kV EHT supply.
