MODEL STEAM ENGINE

Used to show energy conversion. Working model with boiler, safety valve, whistle, steam chamber & flywheel on base. Works off electrical power. Heating water in the boiler results in steam which makes the flywheel mounted on the crank to rotate. A pulley mounted at the free end of flywheel shaft can be used to drive a dynamo etc. demonstrating conversion of chemical energy to heat, mechanical and electrical energies respectively.
