Designed primarily for demonstration of basic principles of the AC transformer. The various coils and cores will also serve as the basis of many experiments in electromagnetism, using either direct or alternating current. Contents: 1x Laminated U-Core, 1x Laminated I-Core, 2x Soft iron Pole Pieces, 1x coil of 6000 turns, maximum current 0.2A with one intermediary output corresponding to 2000 turns,
1x coil of 600 turns, maximum current 0.25A. Mainly to create the transformer primary. 1x coil of 1200 turns, maximum current 1.25A, with intermediary outputs corresponding to 400 and 800 turns, 1x coil of 72 turns maximum current 12A, with intermediary outputs corresponding to 6, 30, 54 and 66 turns. Provided with mains power supply.
