DESSICATOR VACUUM(WITH STOPCOCK)

Allows the cooling and storage of objects of moisture-sensitive items. Protects chemicals which react with water from humidity, or removes traces of water from an almost-dry sample. Not appropriate for storing chemicals which react quickly or violently with atmospheric moisture e.g. alkali metals. Used with drying agent e.g. silica gel, caustic soda. Seal with vacuum grease, usually applied to the flanges. With stopcock, allows the desiccator to be vacuum pumped. Material: Polypropylene & Polycarbonate.
